My name is Marci and if you asked me 10 years ago where I would be now, I would have told you I would still be single and finishing up medical school. Kids?!? That wouldn’t even have been in the cards. In the end, the only thing I predicted right was that I would still be in school. At 28, I have already been married for 6 years and I am the proud mom of two very active little boys. Beyond being a “mommy” (which I am pretty sure my toddler thinks is my real name) and a wife, I am a full-time student pursuing my PhD in nursing.
As for being a domestic goddess, I think this is more an aspiration then a reality, just ask my mom…she will be more than happy to attest to the fact that I do not clean nearly enough or make my bed like I should every day. I’m sure she would tell you more but I will stop there. In the end being a wife, mom, and student is definitely a balancing act. There are days when everything goes right and there are days that…well…I wish I could go back to my unmade bed and pull the covers over my head. I hope you will be able to relate to our blog while learning from some of our attempts to become “domestic goddesses.”
Hi, I’m Michelle. I’ll give you the basics up front – I’m 33 years old, have been married for a little over 3 years, and together we have a (nearly) four-year-old and a six-month-old. Both of our rugrats are girls, so I have my patience tested on a daily basis by two talented drama queens who lay it on extra thick.
Beyond the basics, I’m a jane of all trades, mistress of none. I love to cook and tried to eek out a living doing that to no avail. I love wine and attempted to create a career of that – also a bust. Other personal areas of (non-paying) interest include fitness and nutrition. Since I’m a stay at home mom living near the middle of nowhere (not quite there, but I can see it from my kitchen window), I indulge all of these passions on the homefront by creating elaborately simple, yet healthy meals, working out almost daily, and enjoying a tall glass of wine at the end of each long day.
Am I a true domestic goddess? Not if cleanliness is really next to goddessliness. But, I rule my hearth and my life is fairly divine…so a girl can dream, right?

While Michelle and I will be the main contributors to this page, we will be having these awesome ladies contribute frequently!
My name is Adriana and I’m a 27 year old stay at home mom. I have 4 beautiful children 2 boys and 2 girls and a wonderful and supportive husband. My life is crazy, busy, hectic, beautiful, adventurous you name it so much can go on in a family of 6. It is like a challenge, I have to balance housework with kids school and spending time with them or with my husband and at the same time achieve my own goals which at the moment is loosing weight for good!
Hi! I’m Kaitlyn, I never thought at 19 I would have a beautiful daughter and husband but so far life has thrown many blessings my way! Becoming a young mom, house wife and student was all a huge change from my previous lifestyle and I still struggle with the challenge of balancing it all on a daily basis! Currently I am a few months away from being a certified Medical Assistant which in my eyes is only the very beginning to my education. I have adopted a sort of new lifestyle which is being an all around healthier person, all my life I have had an ongoing battle with weight and body image. Months after having my daughter I was still bigger then I have ever been in my entire life. Well that is ending now, I want to know that I am healthy and forget all the negative things I have heard about my weight my entire life. It’s time for me to be happy in my own skin. As of now I am 15 lbs lighter then before I was pregnant which is a huge achievement to me but I still have a little ways to go! For now I am sticking to healthy eating habits and regular exercise when I can squeeze it in!
